Biography

G.R. "Rick" Trawick, a partner of Slaten Law, was born in Dothan, Alabama. He was admitted to the Alabama bar in 1976. Rick received a B.S. degree from Auburn University in 1972 and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1976. He is licensed to practice law in the Supreme Court of the United States, Court of Appeals for the 11th and 5th Circuits, and Northern, Middle and Southern District Courts in Alabama. He was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama Chief Counsel for the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and Montgomery County Bar Association. His concentrations are disability law, employment law, nursing home litigation, premises liability, professional liability litigation, and mental health litigation.
